About Me
Mark Pelter has been a spiritual guidance counselor for 35 years, providing one-on-one support for those seeking individuation and personal integration. His heart-centered work is grounded in his own ongoing spiritual practice, and draws on decades of study in Eastern and Western wisdom traditions as well as 12 years as a Buddhist monk.
Mark is the author of If You Can't Let It Go, Work It Through and Choosing What’s Chosen You: A Guide for the Cultivation of Lovingkindness. He provides mentoring and training opportunities for his is popular courses of the same names, and served as the Director of Twelve Meadows, a Center for Renewal, located in the High Sierras of California, which was burned down by wildfires in 2008.
Mark holds a BA in Psychology, an MA in Consciousness studies, a Master of Divinity Degree, and has been a Board-Certified Chaplain for 26 years. He lives in Sacramento, California, and is a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
