The ear of my heart is attuned to the needs of others around me. The tone of suffering is loud and abundant in these current times. Blending my years of training as a Buddhist monk and my years of counseling as a chaplain I feel the call to bring forth my work with loving kindness and one-on-one and group sessions to share tools and tips on how to ease the emotional pain I see prevalent around me.
Especially now, during this pandemic and with all this social distress, the embers of my calling have re-awakened my heart's urge to be of service. Today there are so many people suffering and are in grave need for skills and tools. I couldn’t withhold all of this knowledge that has taken me a lifetime to develop.
At the core is the Art of Connectedness. My classes offer tools for stress management; for finding the calm in the midst of chaos; for providing a meaningful sense of connection through small group work; and use universal prayer to serve those that are in our thoughts and prayers. I have heard the call and am responding…
I was called into working with a corporation and to make some of my knowledge of team building, stress management, finding the calm in the midst of chaos, etc. available to staff and managers
I made myself a promise that when I was about 70 years old I would return to my calling. My book Choosing What’s Chosen You is included as a gift when you sign up for my classes. We are creatures of habit. It takes time to create new patterns; that is why I designed the classes for 22 weeks, to ensure that new healthy habits have the opportunity to integrate with your everyday lifestyle.
